Dependency

A short film about the ritual of making a cup of coffee, again and again. Turning almost hypnotic as the need for caffeine takes over. shot on low res digital film giving it an almost dirty grubby junky feel to it. Turning the mundane into something really important and repetitive. Repetitiveness is then broken by the odd rhythmical deluge that leaves the viewer mesmerized searching for meaning. Showing how the caffeine is the fashionable speed of the 21st century with the need of just one more coffee always taking over like a drug gripping us to the extreme.
