Serenity

The image was taken in a darkened room with an exposure of 30 seconds.

The only light source was a small maglite torch. The torch was used at close range to illuminate each petal individually. The flower had 26 seconds of light with the vase having just 4.

This image has not been digitally altered to look like a painting, this is how it was meant to look.

This technique is called "Painting With Light"

The image is now touring the country as part of the CameraSure Fine Art Exhibition
